The core values of any organization reflect who it is and what it believes.
Gospel-Centered
Because of the person and work of Jesus Christ on our behalf, we who are unworthy to come into the presence of a Holy God are gladly welcomed and we can relate to him as his beloved children. In light of this good news, everything we say, do, and believe must be informed and motivated by this reality.
Expositional Preaching
We are committed to honoring God’s Word and to worshiping the Triune God revealed in Holy Scripture. We do this by drawing out the divinely inspired truth that is revealed in every verse, paragraph, and book of the Bible, so that we can encounter Him.
Globally Minded
We are a globally minded church that sends, supports, and partners with missionaries in several nations. These missionaries are strategically involved in the task of spreading the good news of the gospel to people from every tribe, tongue, nation, and people group.
Empowered by The Spirit
We as a church gather together to worship, and then we scatter throughout our community to live on mission as those who are empowered by the Holy Spirit. We cannot live out our faith without God’s help; therefore, the Spirit of God is given to each follower of Jesus so that every local church is filled with people who God has powerfully transformed and is actively using for his kingdom work.
Pastoral Care
The risen and reigning Lord Jesus has commissioned certain men to carry out the sacred task of leading, feeding, guarding, and caring for the flock of God, which is the church. We believe that when godly leaders seek to be faithful to God in all things and to serve his people, the church benefits and the congregation is blessed.
Partnership
We believe that churches are stronger together. This idea comes right from the pages of the New Testament where we see local churches partnering together to fulfill their mission. Because we value partnership between other like minded churches we are united to a family of churches called Sovereign Grace Churches.

We enjoy a rich relationship with churches and organizations in the Seguin area and the broader United States. Our partnerships help us to care for our members and advance the gospel.
